Meet Matt Hayden -
Learning Specialist
About Matt
Matt joined our Keyturn team in 2015. Prior to specialising in L&D, Matt held a variety of front-line and management roles, leading teams ranging from 4 to 100. He has a background in leadership, sales, and client management, across sectors as diverse as finance, travel, advertising, and theatre. This gives him a strong foundation of real-world experience to draw upon and connect authentically with learners at all organisational levels.
Matt is particularly skilled at helping organisations strengthen leadership capabilities, increase their sales team results and drive cultural change. His goal is always to help people better understand themselves and others - because when that happens, performance and relationships improve both in and out of the workplace.
He is a dynamic and highly experienced learning and development professional, known for designing and delivering impactful programmes that support meaningful behavioural change. He brings infectious energy, a relatable style, and a strong belief that people learn best when they’re actively engaged—and enjoying themselves. His sessions are known for being practical, high-energy, and filled with humour, storytelling, and real-life insight.
Organisations with whom he has worked with include:
The House of Lords
AVL Powertrain UK
Buckingham Group
Moores Furniture Group
Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman
Lego
Outside of his role at Keyturn, Matt is a huge music fan and has seen The Boss (Bruce Springsteen) at least 15 times!

Choosing the right training provider…
…means finding a partner who truly understands your organisation, your people, your culture, and the outcomes you're aiming for. Every workshop should feel relevant, well-organised, and aligned with your goals. That’s why it helps to have a team behind the scenes who not only manage the details smoothly but also care about getting it right.
With experience across industries like construction, logistics, and manufacturing, there's a solid understanding of the pressures your teams face. Workshops are shaped around what matters to you; practical, flexible, and focused on making a real impact.
Communication is clear and proactive, and everything runs smoothly. Giving you confidence that your teams are in good hands. It’s about more than just delivering training. It’s about building a partnership that supports growth, development, and long-term success.
